Bonnie and her children often talk about tasting your words. The concept is simple: mean words taste yucky and kind words taste sweet. Bonnie decided to share this idea in the form of a picture book for other families to enjoy and put into practice. Her hope is to inspire children and adults to make the world a sweeter place- one kind word at a time.
The “yucky drawings” were done by Todd Bright, Animator/Illustrator with many filmography credits and projects for clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering and Warner Brothers. The family presented in the book is a nod to their actual blended family because…Todd is Bonnie’s step-brother!
