Bonnie Clark loves books that make her laugh, cry, or think for a long time. She enjoys writing for children because she believes that childhood is the most important time in a person’s life–the time that shapes who we become as adults. When she isn’t writing, Bonnie does yoga, reads books, raises three adorable kids, and drinks lots of coffee. Bonnie lives in Canton, Georgia, with her husband, their children, and two French bulldogs.
Bonnie has always enjoyed words and writing, but she has a special affection for picture books. Weekly trips to the library with her kids is one of her favorite things to do, and even though her older two are on to chapter books, they still enjoy listening to mom read a picture book. Some of their favorites are: Doll-E 1.0 by friend and critique partner Shanda McCloskey, Maple by Lori Nichols, The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfield, and ANYTHING by Mo Willems.
Bonnie is a member of the SCBWI and writes for grown-ups at www.lifeloveandletters.com
When she isn’t writing, Bonnie is lifting weights, doing yoga, reading a book or waiting for date night ALL while drinking coffee. Her favorite place in the world is ANY beach.
